Wickham Elementary won the 3rd K-6 place at the Weber chess tournament 2012


Wickham Elementary won the 3rd K-6 place at the Weber chess

As predicted, Wickham school achieved a major recognition at the Weber chess tournament.

Wickham team got a total of 10 trophies and the 3rd place for K-6 team. There was a total of 118 players. This document gives you a closer look at the details and the amplitude of this achievement.

First, for those of you who do not know our competitors, Lincoln and Weber have the 1st and 2nd ranking state wide! ( http://www.press-citizen.com/article/D5/20120214/NEWS01/120214004

At Weber tournament, Weber came 1st with 15 points, Lincoln came 2nd with 12.5 points and Wickham came 3rd with 12 points.

However, looking at the age group of each school, Wickham's win came from a younger age group. The tournament rule was to pick the top 3 players of a team.

Welcome to Tony Nahra blog.

We are volunteers addicted to Chess

ChessRef.com philosophy is to keep things very simple so users could focus on the game with relevant features at their fingertip. Powerful, Simple and Social.

Users do not need to register and do not need to install any special program. ChessRef.com uses the latest web technologies to allow users to have access to all the features without the need to do anything special, install or update any software on their PCs.

Registered users will have access to extra features like bookmarking their favorite games, rating games for easy finding in the future and social interaction with other users. Registered users can play online, annotate games and much more.

Chess clubs also have their sections on ChessRef.com ! Clubs can upload PGN files of their events, make them public to all other users, promote their club games. Clubs could also add their upcoming tournament events. We hope to see you joining soon.
